Master’s Message – September 2011

Posted by Brian Cayer on September 6, 2011

Greetings Brethren,

Where did the summer go? I look forward to our September meeting and being with all of you. The officers have been working diligently on their ritual and I am sure they will do an excellent job opening in advance stations on the 7th.

As many of you know Brother Wes Glass laid down his working tools and was called to the Celestial Lodge in August. At the request of his wife Roma we will perform the Masonic Memorial Service at our meeting this month.

The Fiftieth Anniversary Luncheon will take place on September 17th. It will be held at the Lafayette House in Foxboro, MA. There will be a social hour at 1pm; luncheon will be at 2pm. This should prove to be an eventful day, we will share our history, present a Fifty year medal, and be entertained by Mel Simons. Tickets are $25 a person, menu choices are Filet Mignon or Baked Scrod. Contact me or W. Ron Wheeler for reservations. Come join us in this special day.

There are several pieces of business to take care of this month. We have two applications to read, and vote on allowing the Lafayette Apron to travel with us to the Fiftieth luncheon. Please make every effort to attend.

Lafayette’s Officers are busy learning their new parts and lectures for the EA degree that is scheduled for November 15th. We meet on the 1st, 3rd, and 4th Mondays at 7pm. All Brethren are welcome to help or just join in the fellowship. I hope to see many of you there.

Fraternally,
Bob Drisko, Master
