Master’s Message – April 2013

Posted by Brian Cayer on March 27, 2013

Greetings Brethren:

Our April stated meeting will be the annual District Dep-uty Visitation to Lafayette Lodge by R.W. Glenn Carl-son. The program for the evening will be presented by R∴W∴Paul Kokolsky Director of Masonic Education. Many of the Northern District lodge officers will be pre-sent for this Northern District Officers Forum.

Please continue to bring in items for our Flea Market on Saturday, April 27 and I hope to see you all at the pancake breakfast and the blessing of the bikes beginning at 7:00 am. Our officers have been working hard to generate en-thusiasm in the lodge and it has certainly shown in our recent member growth. Please come out and support them and your lodge.

We continue to practice for our MM degree to be done April 25 and following that we have scheduled an EA degree for June 13 for a new class of candidates. Thank you to all our members that have helped out with the de-grees.

We gather every Monday (except the second Monday of the month) at 7:00 pm for rehearsal, and everyone is wel-come, whether it’s to help or just for the fellowship. Hope to see you there soon.

Fraternally,

W. Brother Mark Eddleston , Master

Master’s Message – March 2013

Posted by Brian Cayer on March 4, 2013

Greetings Brethren:

March is rapidly approaching and that means the approach of spring. Unfortunately my honey bees did not winter well and I am going to have to get a new colony, but they did leave me with many jars of tasty honey. Out in the barnyard the chickens, ducks and Ginger the goat are all doing well and I am sure are looking forward to the first tasty buds on the trees and some nice juicy worms and some fresh eggs.

The year is moving by so quickly and we are already serving corned beef and cabbage to celebrate our March meeting. Our chefs this month are W∴ Robert Maddix and Brother Sentinel Dave Becker. The program “Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War” will be presented by our own Brother Junior Steward Leo Kennedy.

Recently, the officers and members of the Lodge administered the Fellowcraft degree on our five candidates and one courtesy. They team did an outstanding job and should be proud of themselves. Brother Senior Deacon Ted Hague recited the Middle Chamber Lecture in superb form. Thank you to all that worked so hard and
congratulations to our five new Fellowcraft!

We gather every Monday (except the second Monday of the month) at 7:00 pm for rehearsal, and everyone is welcome, whether it’s to help or just for the fellowship. Hope to see you there soon.

Fraternally,
W. Brother Mark Eddleston , Master
