You and your Masonic Guests are invited to the
June Communication of Lafayette Lodge #47 F&AM

That will be held on Wednesday evening, June 2nd, 2010 at 8:00pm

For the transaction of such business as will come before the lodge and the following:

6:30pm-Dinner & Program with family/friends
Program: CASUAL NIGHT!!!
8:00pm Open lodge, conduct business. Ballot on candidates for the degrees of Freemasonry, which all members of the lodge will receive in a separate
mailing as per Grand Lodge Edict.
Collation after the meeting.
9PM CLOSE LODGE, Collation

Master’s Message – June 2010

Greetings Brethren,

The weather seems to be a few weeks ahead of schedule this year and I know the new officers are also ahead of schedule planning for next year. I am looking forward to the lodge being dark for the summer. I think it’s a great time to spend with family and take a break from the craft. I think the wives and families appreciate having you back full time for the summer. I also believe that a break makes us stronger in the fall.

This June meeting should be a fun one. We are trying something a little different with casual night. Please plan on wearing a Lafayette shirt if you have one or a polo shirt if you don’t. The casual night is intended as a bonding night with a more relaxed atmosphere. We will meet at 6:30 for a POT LUCK PICNIC and games outside and then open lodge at 8:00 pm. Please bring any simple games you would like (bocce ball, horse shoe, waffle ball, frisbee…). We will have a pot luck dinner so please bring something like salad, sandwiches, deserts, treats. We are not planning on cooking or heating up. Dinner is free to those who bring something and $10 for those that don’t. Family and friends are welcome and encouraged.
