Greetings Brethren,
Welcome back from a hot summer. We have had no formal meetings since June but a lot has been going on at the lodge. Our SW Bob Drisko has been working weekly with the new line of officers for an EA degree on Sept 20th. We had a great yard cleanup day and spread new mulch in preparation of the July 4th parade. The lodge looked great thanks to the many that helped out. We had a great presence for the 4th of July parade, thanks to JW Rob Lyle for coordinating. Our brother Dennis O’Conner is now back at home and making a strong recovery (on his way home he asked for a drive around the lodge). I can’t thank Mark Garvey enough for all the weekly work he has done keeping our lodge beautiful and brotherNorman Aquilante for coordinating the repaving project.
I am looking forward to our step up night in Sept. I am sure you will all be very proud and impressed with this hard working line of officers. I would like the Sept meeting to be a recognition night. I will recognize our officers and would like to invite others to recognize someone we forgot about in the past or for any reason. I would like to thank the family of Brother Clinton Tompkinson for their generous donation to the capitol improvement fund and the purchase of bibles for the candidates. Thank you to the brothers who helped out at Clint’s service last month. I know the family appreciated the Masonic service we conducted.
Just a reminder we will be doing the EA degree on Sept 20, 2010 at 7pm on all available candidates.
We will have dinner at 6:30 and open lodge at 7:15. Your Master will be cooking Lasagna served with salad and bread.
